The Leica Thunder Live is a widefield fluorescence imaging device that features advanced image processing to deliver confocal-like images in a fraction of traditional image acquisition time. Strengths include advanced auto-focus features and capability to image extremely large sample territories. It has an Okolab environmental chamber optimized for live cell imaging including thermal and CO²/0² gas controls. Eight LED excitation lines offer broad multichannel imaging options. High quality objective lenses include: 5X(0.12NA), 10X(0.32NA), 20X(0.8NA), 40X LWD(0.6NA), 40X W(1.1NA), and 63X O(1.4NA). Brightfield modes include either phase contrast or DIC depending on objective selection. Aivia 3D rendering and analysis software is also featured on this workstation.
*High quality imaging is limited to thin/transparent samples.
