Welcome to the webpage of the Microscopic Imaging Core Facility of the Biology Department at Wake Forest University. Here you can learn about our facility, discover image capture and analysis capabilities, find detailed features of the equipment, review technical documentation, and local users can reserve equipment time using our web-based calendar.

The Microscopic Imaging Core Facility, Confocal Microscopy Center, and Microscopy Teaching Center are located in Winston Hall on the Reynolda Campus of Wake Forest University.  A second facility site is located in room 2806 of Wake Downtown on Vine Street. Together, these facilities provide resources and training to meet imaging-related educational and research goals of faculty and students at Wake Forest University.  As open equipment time allows, the microscopy facility encourages collaboration and equipment use by faculty and students from neighboring 2-yr and 4-yr institutions for research, educational and outreach purposes.

Please check our procedure guide for more information about core use.
